NY.We have cleaned and serviced this 3A Series Smith-Corona Sterling with beautiful maroon/burgundy colored glossy paint. This is a 1960s Smith-Corona Coronet Electric typewriter in two-tone. It also comes with a copy of a DD1172 Ordnance sales record, indicating this rifle was shipped from the Schenectady General Supply Depot to a gentleman in Wilson. This is a truly stunning typewriter, and I couldnt believe my luck when I found it. It was also re-branded by large retailers. A single circled "P" proof is in the pistol grip, and appropriate SC subinspector proofs are in front of the trigger guard. This keyguard fits the classic Smith-Corona Coronet Super 12 electric typewriter. The left side is stamped with crossed cannon and boxed "FJA" cartouches and no Remington proofmarks. It is fitted with the correct early, "two-pin" Smith Corona 1903A3 stock and handguard. It has an early SC bolts stamped with only a lot number "2" on the underside of the handle.
